Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator

The NCVO is looking for a fundraiser to join our vibrant team.

Reporting to the Program Director, you should be a self-starter who understands the fundraising landscape of the Cayman Islands.  You will generate sustainable income and play a pivotal role in delivering fundraising strategies to support the mission and objectives of the NCVO.  Working closely with the Foster Care Manager, the Preschool Director and the Thrift Shop Manager we are looking for a creative and knowledgeable team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies and proposals to drive the fundraising growth of the NCVO.

  • Actively seek donations from individuals, companies, and community groups in the form of money, services, and goods.

  • Develop and implement a strategy to drive forward sustainable corporate sponsorship and support.

  • Create and seek sponsorship opportunities for events and campaigns and to develop community fundraising initiatives.

  • Create, manage and report on the events calendar.

  • Update our donor database and develop a donor recognition programme.

  • Report back to major donors on specific projects or grants as needed.

  • Prepare monthly reports to track the growth and success of fundraising activities.

  • Manage/oversee all marketing activities via the organization’s website, social media pages, newsletter and any other appropriate sources.

  • Create positive public awareness to generate revenue to support the operational costs of Miss Nadine’s Preschool and the Nadine Andreas Residential Foster Home.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing and successful experience in producing engaging content across different platforms.

  • Extremely organized with good attention to detail.

  • Efficient in time management and meeting tight deadlines.

  • You must have a good understanding of non-profit and charity fundraising strategies and techniques specifically in the Cayman Islands.

  • Should be knowledgeable in MS Office, social media platforms and other relevant marketing tools and software.

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.

Salary from CI$ 3,200 to $4,200 per month dependent upon qualifications & experience.
